Nick Fotio, NY Ranger (defence I beleive) prior to a Oilers game in early 80s ( father had season tickets in Edmonton for years), he tossed me a puck (in the stands) and when I "bumped" into him after the game he called me down to the Rangers dressing room to meet the guys left. Left with some sticks, pucks, autographs etc..
I was amazed how a guy from the other team was so "nice" to me, one of the enemies, it actually gave me a very funny opinion of New York. I remember thinking that all people in NY must be real nice..heh
Nick Fotio, cant fuckin beleive I remember the name.

Nicky Fotiu was great! Every Ranger fan loved him. He was from New York. Staten Island but still New York. Every game he would shoot pucks into the stand after practice to fans. He was a regular guy which is why everyone loved him. Then again many hockey players are like that. That brings back memories.
For the record people from New York are dicks. I just act nice because Toronto mellowed me.
