really? i have a bias? you have done nothing but comment on something you know absolutely nothing about and you think my comments are invalid because some some sort of bias from years of learning and first hand experience?
you know nothing about all the classes of drugs that fall under the broadly defined word "steroid" - how different drugs act in your body and what potential side effects might occur from any of them. testosterone is not anadrol. testosterone, albeit quite a powerful hormone has no negative health effects unless you are using a retarded amount and are genetically prone to certain things like gynocomastia.. in which case, you have plenty of advance symptoms and can quit with no long term, negative effects.
most steroids, when properly used do nothing but wonders for your body.
its a shame that these drugs have been demonized to the point that its quite ok to give a kid ridilin, but incomprehensible to boost your own testosterone levels, improve muscle strength, muscle mass, improve your mental acuity, bone density and correct 100 other age related things that are happening to your body simply because of a lack of adequate hormones.
of course your body changes as you age. the point is not about avoiding anything. for most people outside of competitive bodybuilding (who are not retarded), its about living a perfectly healthy life up until the age of 90-100 and then dropping dead. saying one shouldn't try avoid 10 years in a nursing home or any one of 1000's of diseases connected to aging and poor health is retarded.
hate to break it to you but chemistry is chemistry. you can modify your body chemistry by eating a bag of oranges,.. you can modify your body chemistry by eating 2000 mg of Vitamin C a day. we do countless things to modify our body chemistry that isn't taboo, but is absolutely no different (discounting those who abuse drugs) ... You can supplement declining androgenic hormone production by injecting testosterone into your ass or by supplementing with HGH or quite a few other drugs and see almost instant health benefits.
the most humorous thing about people ranting and raving and babbling about the health risks of steroids is that they can't even possibly begin to fathom how common they are and how widely they are used... and are not willing to, or can't make the distinction between safe use and abuse.
