I'm not very familar with Canadian law, so I guess I can't carry on much of an argument on it. Canada is a "free country", though, and I can't see any such nation invading a person's personal space and privacy on a very weak suspicion. There is no proof that anything in those pictures is illegal in any way. You can't tell if it's cocaine or heroin or just powdered sugar. Also, you can't tell who is in the picture. What kind of legal system would allow you to search someone's house based on a picture that doesn't show anything that could even be remotely identified as a person, substance or location?
Again, I know diddly about Canadian law, but I really can't see that happening.
