If the US withdrew from the rest of the world, withdrew it's aid and supplies, withdrew it's protection and intervention..... it wouldn't be long until all the same critics there are now are saying "That fucking USA cares nothing about the world. They only care about themselves. People around the world are crying out for help and they go unheard."
There is no pleasing some morons no matter what you do. Help them, protect them, and they criticize you for not minding your own business. Withdraw from them and you're an uncaring insensitive monster.
