Of course surfers loathe DRM, especially when it only allows you to access content when you're actively subscribed to the site. Who wouldn't say that they hate something like that? Not to mention that it's buggy, and rarely used and they can go to another paysite and not have to deal with it... (or go to a tube site)
But if everyone producing fresh, rich, new content, (particularly in HD) started using something like this, then they'd deal with it and wouldn't be able to go somewhere else.
