I agree, but that might be changing, Netflix and all the networks that stream their shows usually ask you download a small plugin so it's becoming somewhat more accepted, at least among those who pay.

The problem is that ass-hole paysite owners would start loading it up with spyware and other crap and ruin the whole idea.
