1. Your government, through supporting the Mujahadeen (Islamic fanatics) in their war with the Russians was instrumental in bringing about Taliban rule in Afghanistan.
2. Your government gave the Taliban money, and lots of it, and supported them in many ways (including saying nice things about them) from 1996 to 2001 even though they were repressing and murdering their own people.
