I find it very comical when a GFY poster defends a Republican President. Especially when it's a spoiled, hard nosed, uneducated, uncooth man such as Bush.

Bush won the election because there were 5 republicans and only 4 democrats on the Supreme Court. If there were 5 democrats, Florida votes would have been counted properly and Gore would have won. He won because of circumstance; However, if Americans weren't so narrow minded and ridiculously stupid, he wouldn't have had a chance. In any other country/culture, the mere prospect of Mr. Bush being president would have caused hysterical laughter.
And, although I think talking about politics, especially on GFY is somewhat like kicking a dead horse, I should add that Bush's popularity rating is presently below 50%. The only thing that might help him is more war propoganda and war mongering.
As opposed to facing the immediate threat of North Korea, politics dictate that he should appeal to the ignorance of America and press the Iraq issue, since it would be a much more glamarous war (Considering 13 years of anti-Iraqi sentiment has been nurturing in the mind of every average American); thus, it would help his rating.
Just really stupid bullshit. I'd rather make money and move to the Carribean.
