Yesterday an Australian survey was published showing that 8 out of 10 Australian boys aged 16-17 have visited Internet porn sites, see:

Predictably the tabloid media, talkback radio shows and conservative politicians are now all whipping themselves into a state of hysteria regarding the issue and have started a brand new debate about the need for Government censorship of the Internet. I can hardly wait to see what they come up with this time!
Anyway today's Sydney Morning Herald carries an interesting editorial putting forward a much more nuanced argument regarding porn, teenagers and censorship:
