I know quite a few girls who are into "yaoi", in fact I think that entire subgenre is aimed at women rather than gay men. I looked into it when I was thinking about launching a gay hentai website and discovered the niche's rabid fangirls.
Unfortunately, after looking into sponsors I found a lot of gay western/toon style stuff, and hardly any of the actual yaoi style. Oh well.
