Hi Jim, I just revisited the FAQ myself. They have changed some things since I first signed up ( about a year ago). The money used to be in american dollars, now it is calculated in pence. 2 pence on 5 pence per minute equals %40, but that is if the customer buys a "package" of minutes to get a better rate.
Bastards! lol Originally it was a flat 6 cents per minute for the producer and the customer paid 10 cents/minute, that was an easy 60% calculation. Sorry if I wasted anyones time. My experience with them has been a positive one though, and they are about to roll out a mobile distribution aspect to the site too. The mobile stats already appear in the admin.
As Robbie said, we producers should be distributing our content through every VOD/clip site. New eyes, new customers, more branding. I give a shot at every distribution point I can find. It's all leveraging the income of your content. C4S is still the best money maker for us.
Thanks for the link too Robbie! I'll have to look into that for us also.
