I'm in the process of deciding on a new CMS right now.
Paysite CMS is the gold standard, priced to match.
if your client doesn't want to go in that direction, check out
ElevatedX...not as many bells and whistles but still robust, and with a lease option as well.
I haven't decided yet, but that's the way I'm leaning.
