Perhaps you can discuss this with your wife and tell her that you want more of a social life. I don't think she'll be upset about it if you give her the impression that you want to include her in it. Obviously she's not going to let you bang 18 year olds from Myspace, but I suppose that when you get married and aim to create a stable and comfortable homestead you lose touch with the social scene and she might be excited with you about reconnecting to it.

Maybe a little bit of fun can reverse the aging process that marriage has accelerated (at least mentally).

Edit: I've never been married, so I'm still bright-eyed and idealistic about the prospect. These words should probably be taken with a grain of salt.
