They are not untrue. Years ago Shaun called wanting our software, but wanted the software for free instead of paying the price we were asking. I explained and apologized that what he was asking for was impossible at that time, and he proceeded to tell me how he would soon take over the Internet video chat market in Montreal. This is years ago - way before you. I didn't know if he was serious or not, or how he could even attempted to do it, so I just dismissed him as a potential client. Nothing more.

You're 100% right, and good for you. As I already said in my post, "Not that you needed to be rescued".....
... maybe its just me, but whenever anyone at my company was attacked, I just naturally try to help them out by at least clarifying issues when possible.
Claire you and I are friends and I felt really bad for you when the bashing was taking place. I was just wondering where your boss was and why he didn't post anything to help to clarify any issues, thats all. I know you're a big girl and can take care of yourself. It won't happen again. (still friends?)

Actually, this is not quite right. I was there, and of course your friend Christina was there, so I guess this will be a he said / she said.
In am email to you I had said to you that I wished you well in your new venture and congratulated you on entrepreneurial spirit. I also said to you that if you ever wanted to come back to 2Much as a chatter OR to get a position in the office of some kind, that the door was always open. I also said something like all the friends you have here all say "Hello". (Everyone here likes you, ya know...!

Then Shaun came over, and told me, in my own office, that "my girls are mine, blah blah blah", and told me that YOU are under some kind of whacky obligation to forward ALL email messages to him or some nutty thing.
Anyway look... lets forget all of that. Let's all just say that this is all just one big understanding and move on.
Claire, Shaun, whoever: This is your chance. Why not post a message letting everyone know just what your company does, and how your services can help everyone. Why fight? Fighting is pointless.
