I admit I've skipped large swaths..
But long story short, VS basically pulled a TOS trick on an affiliate who got out of adult, and stopped sending traffic. He was promoting a "lifetime" product they offered, which should pay out as long as his customers are rebilling etc.
They claimed that because he didn't respond to their attempts to contact him, they decided to cancel his account. He was still CASHING his checks though.. Pretty lame.
Now VS has dug their heels in, and is trying to ignore the situation.
Pretty, fucked, up. They also say they've made over $176,000 from this affiliate, and have paid him roughly $40,000. To stop paying him on a loophole is ridiculous, especially since they're still making money off his customers.
Shap, if I shut my websites down tomorrow, how long would you pay my rebills? ;)
