I tried to start a thread and instead of discussing it or even debating what I thought they chose to flame. Typical head in the sand approach.
Things are getting tough, why is obvious. We are not convincing enough surfers to spend $30 on what we are offering. The answer is the tough one.
I'm lucky I'm on the edge of launching a site 500 other people don't already have and another 500 can't copy tomorrow. Yes I know you all have exclusive content, problem is it's often no different from the next sites exclusive content and most scenes on a site blend in together.
We devalued the product we sell down to the lowest common denominator to concentrate on sending more traffic. Then we compare our marketing x product to MacDonalds WOW what fucking Einstein thought that one up?
Because you now see the results. We needed 10 to get a sign up, then 100, then 500 and today some dream of getting 1-1000. And the answer is?
Send more traffic.
Look at who, what and where it's converting well and work out why some sites appeal to the surfer more than others. Their might be a common thread. Or it might be the site is under promoted. Or it might be the porn hits the nail on the head. 2008 the surfer is KING and unless you sell to him sending more traffic is no solution.
