its like being the new guy at the police department (or any job really)... at first the young rookie signs up and thinks he is going to help and protect and be on the square.. but the reality is that its not how it works, and you realize you have to do things a certain way to get things done. the guy who has put in the most time is usually promoted, because he has experience and understands how things work....
