11:33 a.m. -- Jobs is showing why 3G is faster/better than EDGE. It takes 21 seconds for complex web site to fully load. Same site on EDGE takes... 59 seconds. 2.8 times faster. compared to Wi-Fi, it's very close. Same site is 17 seconds on Wi-Fi. "It's amazingly zippy". It takes 33 seconds for N95 and 34 seconds on Treo 750 to load same site. Now onto email. It takes five seconds for an email attachment compared to 18 seconds for EDGE. But how about battery life? Standby time is up to 300 hours. For 3G talktime, up to five hours. For browsing 5-6 hours. Video is 7 hours and audio is 24 hours. GPS is also going into the iPhone 3G. (Big applause) You can now track yourself using GPS.
