It is sad that the level of political discourse in our country has declined to the point where politicians that you don?t agree with are "traitors" who should be tried for "war crimes." This kind of rhetoric destroys the underpinnings of our system of government. A society where the political opposition is considered the enemy will not remain a Democracy for long. This kind of thinking leads toward violence and fascism.
