I posted those links to note that those things happened, as well as implying that the outcome with knives would most likely have been a different one. If the fact that wikipedia is edited by users makes you doubt whether the Virgina Tech massacre actually happened, or whether guns were used... well, if that is the case, you're an idiot. If not, your doubts with regards to the veracity of Wikipedia are unrelated to the issue at hand.
As for the crusades, well yes, back before guns existed, armies of thousands of people successfully used bladed weapons to kill thousands of other people. The fact that more people died in relatively recent wars (WWI, WWII) which were fought, among other weapons, with guns, only reinforces the point I am making.
...but what the hell am I doing. It's a beautiful day, and I am wasting my time on idiots who apparently honestly believe knives are more effective weapons than guns, failing to realize that if that were the case, guns would be pointless in the first place
