Dont get me started on the beauty that is Detroit. Its history, one giant sociological experiment. It was one of the largest richest cities in this country at the turn of the century. You know what kinda houses you can get here for a fraction of the price that you would pay anywhere else? And if you cant see the beauty in a gigantic decaying city, thats tragic. Im not happy in the burbs. Im not happy around yuppies. besides, I live in the same area all the Detroit cops live in and I am 3 blocks from Grosse Pointe, where all the politicians and sports stars live. Just because I am in Detroit, doesnt mean I am in the ghetto. Im tired and rambling.

I do plan on moving somewhere this summer for a year or so.

You cant make a snap judgement about Detroit just by driving through it.
