Yep, I agree 100%, it's all about the feedback. I bought a nice new Dell XPS 1710 laptop from Ebay for $3,100 shipped when at the time, the same laptop configured on Dell's website with tax was $4,500, that's a $1,400 savings for the same exact item.
The seller, of course, had over 1,000 feedback with a 99% positive rating with many other feedbacks left from others whom also had decent feedback and bought laptops from him. In a case like that, I felt pretty safe.
If I was looking to buy a $900 tv, I wouldn't buy from anyone with less than 200 positive feedback points and a 99% positive rating AND see that they also sold other bigger ticketed items to people with decent feedback.
Good luck getting your money back. Hopefully something can be done about it.
