Dont get me wrong not all parts of South Africa are bad Its just places like
Joburg, Hillbrow and the "townships"
Florida where we used to live wasent far from Soweto, and that is why crime was pretty high where we lived at the time.
When I look back I cant blame the crime soley on the black people as they were treated like second class citizens in thier own country and had no money or food so what else where they supossed to do.
I had Xosa friend and he worked bloody hard for peanuts. He had no electric or clean running water in his house. They used truck or car batteries as electric and cooked on open fires. This guy was honest and very hard working and I felt so fucking sorry for him. When we left SA. He wanted to come with us as he couldent see any future living in SA in the time of aparthied. We gave him R40.00 before we left and it was like Chritmas for him he actutually started crying as he had never had anything given to him before. It was a fucked up situation to be living in for the blck people and for white people who did not see the logic in aparthied, Any way its a shame that the country is now going the other way but after years of oppression I guess this is what happens..
