God's Country - at the beginning of the Blue Ridge mountains in North GA. I was out driving today and when you have gorgeous scenery just running errands, you really appreciate life
When my son graduated from HS I knew that working from home I could live anywhere. I SERIOUSLY contemplated the beach but I'd 100% need a water front home (I'm on a small lake here). Then I remembered oceanfront property (in the SE where I wanted to stay because of family) and storms and realized it would be easier to rent a few months a year ;)
Here are some pictures taken 5 years ago about this time last year. These were all taken from standing on a deck at the house - except the picture of the house, obviously (yes, everything's been restained and the dogs are a lot older now
