Sorry but if your vote doesn't agree with the pick of the democratic party leaders, it only counts half.
The only time that "the every vote must be counted" rule applies is in the general election when the dems are losing to the republicans and they have have to re-write the election laws in the middle of the game in order to steal the election for their guy.
