Haha - my cats both LOVE packaged lunch meat. They know the minute I get it out of the fridge. Like you I also only let them eat dry food and the rare can of wet food as a treat, but they go mad for lunch meat.
On the more bizarre side, one of my cats LOVES green beans and edamame. I have no idea why, but when she senses I have some, she goes crazy and can't get enough...
