Yeah for sure, some programs limits to 20 or 50 per page.
Depends on the layout though, some layouts will be a hassle if you list 2000 galleries using it.
Since we have an exporter that produces text lists only we can do 2000+ galleries without putting any real load on the server while generating 2000 tables with thumbs and what not would add a few secs to the page loading time for sure.
