So having a tough job allows you free reign to break the law? This world would be a pretty crazy place with that line of thinking.
And people call cops assholes because of things like this. Weed out the cops on power trips like this one and you won't have that negative connotation towards them. Unfortunately, nothing is ever done in situations like this and at worst he'll get a short suspension with pay.
