I've had several of these and now I'm on the road with one that was just sent back to me from a repair shop. This is the first time I have ever noticed it could be turned off, but my battery display (how much battery time I have left) is now gone and I can't find where to turn it back on.
The "display" button of course turns on and off the SP / LP, video time and such, but I've never noticed if it did the battery as well.
I didn't think it would be a huge problem at first but my batteries are wearing out faster than I think they should and the cam is shutting down on me with no warning.
Did the repair shop mess this up, or am I over looking a very simple setting?
