K got a good "business idea" to illustrate the thread:

I recently came across a hyped up guy asking me to give him $500 to participate in this "one-of-a-kind" opportunity in the VOIP market, the scheme mentions VOIP in order to conceal the real deal going on which is the classic "pyramid scheme" or MLM .... basically the "associates" earn $150 every time they bring someone into the "company" and have them pay $500 ....

Yes, people with common sense will definitively feel the scent of "scam" miles away... but there are several who let themselves be sold based on "emotions" and ultimately get fucked up...

For those wondering.......no I didn't hand over $500 because it was clearly a scam ..lol
