I have gotten used to it after a few years of HDV filming although I think that 4x3 is generally still more practical for porn viewing. 16x9 is useful for certain scenarios however, like the site I film that consists entirely of b/g/g three-way scenes. They can really spread out horizontally on the bed and you can see all the action simultaneously in the frame better than 4x3 in that case.
