there are alternative solutions, but they are not as good as oil, for instance, there are alternatives to meat like tofu burgers, but i dont want to eat tofu burgers because its my choice, id rather have a burger made of beef. so producers of beef will keep making beef because the market determines what is produced. supply and demand.
