He never discouraged it the MARRIAGE - just offered the car or to pay for the wedding. He wasn't asking me to not to get married just questioned if spending money for a wedding was that important. I stupidly thought it was
It was a kick ass wedding though!!! I have lots of pretty pictures to prove it, lol.
And don't get me wrong, I love when friends have really expensive weddings
