Exactly baddog - Dry heat for me is much more manageable than humid heat. When I lived in the south, they called it the 'heat index.' Basically, the weatherman says, "Temperature today is going to be 100, but with the heat index it will be 115." Which means with the humidity compounding the heat it always feels much much hotter...

And no, dry heat is NOT as bad as humid heat...
