so is dry heat different?

We went to Fogo de choa for lunch, its a brazilian steakhouse. Im chatting with the manager and he says they are opening a Fogo in Scottsdale AZ. I'm like god that's hot and he said its dry heat so its different. I said to me 108 is hot wet or dry. Never experienced it is it so different?
