sounds like most of the replies are coming from the perspective where money doesn't matter too much... if the plane ride is free then you mainly have to just look around at some all-inclusive resorts to get your drink on and be lazy.
Personally when I go places I still try to keep some sort of a budget. Generally when you do some searching the bahama's are usually the "cheap entry level type carib vacation" plenty of decent places to go, drink all you want and be lazy on beaches, for me thats about all I feel like doing and airfare + staying tends to be way less than half the price of going to some of the nicer islands. If you get drunk enough do you really care?
Also worth asking is are you bringin somebody or do you need to hookup down there? because obviously some places have some seriously nasty bitches...
might also just want to look into carib CRUISES so you can hit several islands.
