Watching now pretty interesting but as you said most likely have a general idea of what's going on.

One thing to think about is the fact the whole idea about "blood diamonds" could be a scam by De Beers. Sure there is of course fighting and dieing going on in Africa but it's not because of diamonds. Diamonds are just a way they pay for stuff because they have artificial worth. If there was no artificial worth there would be no blood diamond.

However think of whole movement behind not buying blood diamonds.. They want you to make sure your diamonds are certified ect..ect. Well who does buying certified diamond benefit? The ones that control them of course. Who controls them? De Beers..

What better way to keep the prices up and the idea that they are rare than to imply people die for them and you must make sure the diamonds you buy have no blood on them.

Think about it..it's all about controlling the market.
