I have three rescued Rottweilers. It's one female in particular that has the problems.
As for your raw diet mumbo jumbo, not really my thing. The dogs get surgery and not acupuncture too. My dogs eat a prescription Fish and Potato diet for skin and coat managment that my sister, a board certified and practicing Veterinarian wants them on. With all due respect, no amount of anecdotal experience you have with raw diets is ever going to measure up.
Perhaps more specifically, no diet is going to stop breed trait problems, in this case dysplasia and cruciate ligament problems.
