Even those of us who pay for listings there have had their galleries rejected by Patrick before. You still have to follow his rules for the honor of paying to be listed there....LOL
If you read what he says, he doesn't count sponsor links, he's often said a gallery with 50 thumbs and one banner can look worse than a gallery with 10 thumbs and 5 banners. Its all how you lay out the page.
Just because only 2 things on your gallery were linked to the sponsor, the page could still be screaming "advertising"
