How could SEO have no future, unless Search Engines were to die?
Shoemoney's post is directed at certain (limited) aspects of SEO... I think it would be more accurate to say that SEO
in it's current state has no future. That's the nature of the animal, though - it is constantly evolving, changing, drifting, twisting, turning... at no point in time will you ever be able to say "
This is SEO, write it in stone and use it as a guide forever".
The current version and methods of SEO will
never have a future... only the future methods will be relevant in the future, and only for a limited amount of time, until they too have no future. (
)
On the other hand... it's possible that things will come full circle once in a while, and what was once relevant and successful will become so again.
