loved that! great choice of music - truly bittersweet watching those highlights and lowlights of his career - sad that it is such a short window where an athlete is at his peak - it's the aging process compressed - in sports you go from wonderkid to old man in 15-20 years. You can be a great painter, musician, scientist, actor, lawyer etc for 50 years.
i never saw Wilt play but know his insane stats and have seen clips of him - Wilt was freakishly tall for his era, playing against players a half a foot shorter - not sure but I think he won only one championship near the end of career his with the Lakers. Jordan was better - he was the total package - the most exciting showman and the fiercest most clutch competitor in one guy.
They keep wanting to say this guy or that guy is the next Jordan - Vince Carter, Kobe, Dwayne Wade, Lebron - none of them were/are close - Kobe is the closest but still not even close.
Dwight Howard has a chance to be a once in a generation player - if he had Jordan's almost pathological competitive streak he could be right there in the discussion about the greatest players of all time.
