the flag stands for more than just the troops that died in previous wars. It stand for those we killed in wars. For the Japanesse Americans we locked up during world war II. It stands for the capitalistic nature of the USA, it stands for the 300 billion dollar a year deficit the USA is projecting each year for the next 10 years, it stands for the billions being put into a war half the country doesn't agree with while the USA economy is the lowest its been this limetime, and chapter 11 backrupcy is the highest. It is a symbol of a nation divided (or as others would call it, a nation balanced). There are many reasons to respect the flag and to honor it, but if you think that their is no reason turn your back on it, and that all those who do are "uneducated," then I'm sorry you are vastly mistaken.
