I've been doing this six years, and I've shot 2000+ scenes, and I've almost never shot anything worthwhile with strippers (I'm assuming that's what "Barefootsies" is) nor escorts/whores. Porn girls and escorts and strippers share almost nothing in common...except being in the sex industry.

Average, girl next door types that sell. They are neither "porn girls", escorts, or whore. Just college chicks, and girls from the modeling web sites.
We live in a college town, and there is an abundance of women. I do not use escorts, or strippers. So making all these ASSumptions based on your "experience" is wrong all the way around.
But I always get a chuckle out of these "pros" who make such claims. Quite entertaining in fact.
