Well I am not talking about black pimps in furs chasing down girls on the street or crackwhores - I am talking about escort agencies, clubs, brothels, hotel girls..
Believe me, there always were girls willing to make their money this way, there are and they always will be... noone needs to force them.. there is no criminal aspect by default.
I know even extreme cases of girls that have a really rich and totally ok family, some of them even college students, that make their money as escorts.. they have everything on a golden plate and are not dumb, yet they do that..
I know some that quit, moved away, started a new life and are great mothers to their kid... of course this is only possible if the spouse:
a) is from the business and doesn't suffer from the stigma
b) doesn't know the whole history
Which probably more or less applies to porn too..
