I was actually raised in Americus. It is my home town. It is pretty conservative, to say the least....but a ton of good hunting around those parts. Who's farm did you buy? I probably know them ;)

Neat, you still live around there?
Well I didn't buy it, my fiance and her father own it and has been in their family for many years and he is like begging her to move up there. It would be the Sam Adams farm on 19 which borders the "Memorial Mile" commemorating the Confederate soldiers.
I've been up there 3 times so far visiting. I don't really want to move up there because I am a Florida Native and really love fishing and the beach, but 600 acres to do with what I want has some perks.
I'll probably keep my place here in Florida though :-)
