I know people with tube sites that have convertions better than 1:1000, mostly with dating. Ofcourse that is unique sponsor clicks not movie views or page views or whatever.
Sure the number 1:1000 was just an example to put into perspective how much and good they will have to convert to get 350k a month just for hosting (like banthis said they pay).
I am perfectly in understanding that most tube sites are no where near 1:1000 but what does that matter to me?
Let's do it again: If youporn get's 10,000,000 uniques aday and 1% of them click through to sponsors and they need to pay their $350k hosting bill with the money it makes, they will have to convert better than 1:430 at $50 per sale just to survive.
Now we can state the obvious, they don't have an $350k per month hosting bill
