05-02-2008, 01:28 AM (2 hours later) Empire replied, he could have / should have contacted you then
05-03-2008, 10:41 AM (33 hours later) you had not heard back from Empire....
I have bought and sold my ass off on this forum, and as a seller: anything beyond a day and a half for me is pretty much gone in my opinion.. (if we're splitting hairs here it was 3 hours early by "my standards" but that's just being silly)
One of the other things I always looks at as both a seller and a buyer is the users post count, membership length, and post history...
My post count is low (as i am not a sig whore, i mainly post just for business shit not discussion crap, but i've been doing this since the late 90's and most people know that). And most people know i buy and sell shit all the time..
Empire,
You just joined.. you were not "shafted".. regular members here would not make it very long if that was their way of doing things...
Based on your membership time length here, as a seller i would give you a little lower rating than most.. (doesn't mean you're a bad person... just that if someone was gonna scam someone or just plain fuck around, they's be doing it with a new account.. as an older account would have been "called out")
In your defense, the refund option should have been used... if OG can't straighten it out with paypal, i'll send you the 1.52 USD you lost due to a payback instead of a refund if that's that much of an issue for you...
As far as the timing goes.. that's part of the big reason why i always prefer ICQ as a form of contact when making a deal, as it's more instant...
I don't think OG LennyT is in the business of screwing people since June 2003 on the same forum.. He would not be here still if he was not honest.
You just really need to look at things from both a buyer "and seller" point of view...
i am sorry it went down this way, but ya need to look at it from the outside in..

I know you think you made an informed post but you in fact don't know anything.
I said sold, he wrote with an email and said he was going to bed. I sent him an email at that time and would have gladly paid if I knew where or how to send the damn money. I wrote him on ICQ as soon as I posted sold but got no response.
There is no 33 hours later, I did not get an email with payment instructions until mid day yesterday. We were out celebrating a birthday, on a friday evening when I saw this and I sent payment the minute I walked through the door. It took him longer to send me payment information than it took for me to pay him.
Your point about feedback, if you do a search for "empireautopilot.com" you will find my history on other forums where I am a 100% positive rated buyer and seller with dozens of transactions, some of which are for $10,000 +. This is the bare minimum I would do before hacking off a deal because someone took LESS time to respond than I took to send them payment info.
ICQ, already mentioned this. I wrote, got no answer.
I don't care what Lenny is here for. I purchased these sites for someone else and they were expecting them. Now I get to go tell them that the person I bought them from decided to be an asshat so they are SOL. If they were for my own use it wouldn't matter as much, my clients are my lifeblood and now one is pissed off over the actions of someone else.
The fees were actually $3.93, guess he used a credit card as payment type but that is not what's important. You say his reputation is on the line, I've never left a negative rating for anybody I've dealt with. In this case I would have doled out a big fat negative. There is nothing right about how Lenny handled this transaction and it pisses me off. Not that he gives a shit but I will not forget it.
In the big scheme of things, I've seen multiple sites and domains here that I could pick up for various clients. At this point I have no desire to deal with people on a forum where transactions are not tracked and people can back out without any recourse.
With that said you shouldn't feel bad at all, it's not your fault.
