Here's how I see it... To make the most out of this situation something had to "Change". The comments that Obama made were designed to show voters his ability to make a "Change" in his personal life that is not only positive but necessary to show that he himself has the ability to "Change" for the better thus proving that his mantra for positive "Change" has indeed started at home.
Obama's strength is his eloquence of delivering the right speech at the right time and being able to spin anything necessary to support his ticket for "Change"
