That's for a reality video site. Figure how much per shoot? Gregg's partner said bout 3 grand per scene give or take 500 bucks either way. That's 30 grand up front before any revenue comes in - them another 12 grand a month in updates, if you already don't have a program garnering lots of traffic or lots more money to buy traffic you're going into the hole deeper - expensive proposition to make a reality video site your first, better hope webmasters are all over it or you're on your way to losing a chunk of change.
Benefit of an exclusive reality site is that you will get noticed by webmasters looking for new sites to promote when other reality sites hit the wall - if you spend half as much in startup costs and put out a regular type niche site nobody is going to pay attention to you.
30,000 is alot of money in content costs to start up a site - 95%, of sites spend lots less. More like 99% of sites spend less. Plugins aren't paid up front, so at least if u have some traffic, you're going to have some cashflow before the bills start coming in.
