Surf Notes: The surf will be rising later today from the WNW direction, with a high surf advisory issued by the NWS forecast office in Honolulu in response. The generating source for this new swell train of waves occurred at blah blah blah...
There will be waves breaking in those spots across the state that are exposed to west swells, such as the Kona and Kohala coasts on the Big Island, and probably La Perouse, Makena, Wailea, and Kihei here on Maui...among others.
This swell will keep large surf breaking through Tuesday, then gradually drop through Wednesday and Thursday. The latest computer forecast models suggest that a new storm will form in the western Pacific soon, taking a day or two to generate a new NW swell. This next swell will likely arrive later this week, towards Friday...keeping the waves up through this coming weekend.
fuck yeah...
